ITIL processes at Société GRICS
- Improvements to the change request follow-up
procedure:
A new procedure will be implemented as of
January. All requests will now be looked
at immediately and requestors will quickly
receive an e-mail reply confirming whether or
not their change request has been accepted.
All accepted requests will be grouped on a list
and their items prioritized. In the event
of a negative reply, the requestor will be
offered the possibility of having custom
developments performed.
This new way of doing things will make it
possible to quickly clarify the request process
and offer a basic list for new developments
aimed at improving applications. Read the
January 5, 2010
news release.
- Survey on standardizing Société GRICS communications:
In September we announced the launch of a pilot
project for standardizing communications from
Société GRICS applications. With this in
mind, the Société developed templates that
should make it possible to simplify and clarify
all messages. This project affects two
products: PAIE and GRH, and GPI.
At the beginning of January, all IT department
managers were invited to complete the template
satisfaction survey and share their comments
with us in order to complete the process.
The survey findings were very positive and
template use will be extended to all
products.

Results of the 2009 Société GRICS
satisfaction survey
Every second year, Société GRICS conducts a
large consultation of its members in order to
measure their level of satisfaction towards our
organization.
Last spring, the survey was sent to all school
boards' general directors and 51 surveys were
completed and returned to us. Survey
results and comments have been analysed and
action plans have been consequently developed
and carried out.
We wish to thank all respondents for the time
spent in completing the survey.
The
survey results are available and we invite
you to consult them. For more details on
this subject, do not hesitate to contact your
