CVE, the new website for La Collection de
vidéos éducatives, was launched on April 20.
CVE is currently being tested in two school
boards. The official start date for subscriptions will be in
September. For those of you who already subscribe to La
Collection de vidéos éducatives, further details on migrating to CVE
will be sent to you in September.
The state-of-the-art, user-friendly CVE system
boasts a powerful search engine and uninterrupted access to
high-definition content.
CVE features a wealth of online resources,
including videos in French and English, the accompanying teaching
materials and more. All this for only $267 per school!

New group timetable generator module in TOSCA
A new traditional
group timetable generator module is now available in
TOSCA. The generator can use group planning information
compiled in the TOSCA system to generate group-specific
timetables in a matter of minutes.
The easy-to-use module will help you save time by eliminating
manual data entry and maximize your resources by generating
group-specific information quickly, simply and effectively.
The module is currently being tested in two school boards and
will be available to all our clients in late May 2011.

BIM online - Turnkey evaluation situations
BIM online is designed for use by school administrators,
pedagogical consultants and elementary and secondary school
teachers. Bim online features a bank of nearly 200
validated evaluation tools.
The evaluation situations offered cover a wide variety of
subjects, including French, math, science, social sciences,
ethics and religious culture and visual arts. The
situations all correspond to MELS orientations and, every year,
new material is uploaded to the BIM online site.
Each situation is developed jointly by the Société GRICS team of
evaluation consultants and groups of participating pedagogical
consultants and teachers.
Subscribing to Bim online not only provides users with access to
evaluation situations, it also gives teams interested in
taking
part in the development of evaluation situations the opportunity
to benefit from a range of free complementary services including
assistance with copyright applications, copyediting and transfer
to electronic media.
