CVE subscribers.
CVE - Connecting Videos in Education - is much more
than a handy way to access videos. The site makes available a
wealth of online resources, including of course videos in French and
English, but also teacher guides, educational activities, and much
more! All of these resources are available for only $ 267 per
school. Contact your

board rate.
In addition to being equipped with a powerful search engine and
providing for high-definition streaming, CVE allows for the editing
and sharing of video segments and provides a direct link to
interactive whiteboards.

New
Classrooms Dedicated to Virtual Training
Proceeding on schedule, two new classrooms dedicated to distance
learning will be available at the Société GRICS offices in late
October. Each of the rooms will be equipped with
videoconferencing and web conferencing equipment. These new
facilities will allow us to increase our distance learning
capabilities and so meet growing client demand.

Action Plan : a New Module is Added to GPI-SPI and GPI-ISM
A new module has just been added to Internet GPI-SPI (Suivi
personnalisé Internet) and its English-language equivalent, ISM
(Internet Student Monitoring). This new module is the
Individualized Intervention Plan, or IEP. The IEP is a
computerized solution that is based on the MELS proposed action
plan. It is designed to meet MELS requirements and the
needs of schools in monitoring students with learning of
adaptation difficulties.
Both versions - SPI and ISM - were delivered on September 23,
2011. They include all the tools necessary to set up IEPs
and evaluate their effectiveness on a periodic basis. The
complete range of functionalities will be made available in
October in the next SPI and ISM version.
